Return & Exchange Policy

We strive to ensure you love every Butterscōsh garment, but if something isn’t quite right, we’ve got you covered.

Return / Exchange Eligibility

  • You may initiate a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving your garment(s) via the Orders section of our website or on WhatsApp.
  • The garment(s) must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags/seals intact. If any of these conditions are not met, the garment(s) will not be eligible for return or exchange.
  • Garment(s) marked “Final Sale” or purchased on clearance are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • If your return frequency is significantly higher than average, Cash On Delivery (COD) payments and/or future return requests may be restricted to ensure fair use of our policy.

Exchange Terms

  • Exchanges may be for size, color, or product — we support them all.
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability at the time of creating the request.
  • If the exchange value is higher, the price difference must be paid at the time of creating the request.
  • If the exchange value is lower, the balance will be issued as store credit, valid for 1 year.
  • Each order is eligible for a maximum of 2 exchanges, after which the sale will be considered final.

Reverse Logistics

  • We will arrange a reverse pick-up within 2–4 business days of receiving your return or exchange request.
    Note: Actual pick-up timelines depend on your location, and external factors such as weather, logistics, or political disruptions.
  • Our logistics partner will contact you before pick-up. After 3 failed attempts to reach you, the return or exchange will be cancelled and must be re-initiated within the original 7-day window from delivery.
  • If reverse pick-up is not available at your pin code, you may be asked to self-ship the garment(s) to the following address:

    Note: Self-shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

Quality Check & Refunds

  • Returned garment(s) will undergo a standard quality check (QC):
    • If they pass QC, return or exchange will be initiated.
      Note: Refunds may take 10–15 business days to reflect based on payment partner policies.
    • If they fail QC, we’ll notify you via email and/or WhatsApp and return them to you.
  • Refunds for prepaid orders will be made to the original payment method only.
  • Refunds for COD orders will be issued as store credit, valid for 1 year. Store credit will be sent via email, SMS and/or WhatsApp, and is non-convertible to cash.
  • Original or express shipping charges are non-refundable.

Important To Note

If your garment(s) appear tampered with or have broken seals/tags at delivery, please write to us at hello@butterscosh.in or WhatsApp us on +91 96363 72101 within 24 hours. Claims beyond this window may not be accepted as per our fair usage policy.

Butterscōsh reserves the right to approve or deny any return or exchange in exceptional scenarios not explicitly covered above.
